I use grids for layout purposes as well as normal building grid use. My layout grids I typically don't want to see on erection drawings. If there were a little checkbox in the grid properties to allow the grid created to be "hidden" from paper space that would be great.
Currently I'm placing those special behind the scenes grid lines on their own layer so It's easier to filter them out on erection drawing.
