weld symbol

how can I increase weld symbol size or text size, i've changed every setting but no chznge please help me in this

Go to> Management tools> defaults> use filter> type weld size> expand drawing presentation> click on general> change weld size.  I didn't test this so if it doesn't work i appologize

Hi,

If you are working with Advance Steel (AS) 2016 version, the weld symbol definition (size, text ...) is set in the file WeldTemplate.dwg, located here:

• [C]:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Advance Steel 2016\Shared\Support\Symbols\

You can modify here the entire configuration of the weld symbol.

Some important notes / remarks:

• Please make sure that you open the WeldTemplate.dwg file with pure Autocad ONLY. Do not modify it with AS loaded.
• When modify the text height --> you have to modify the WeldText style. Open the Text style dialog box and modify there the text height
• The modifications of weld symbol template will be visible only for the new generated drawings. The existing detail drawings will NOT be modified.
