I created some assembly sheets for detailing and have a page with an I beam crossbeam. it has holes on both ends of the web and holes all along the top flange. previously this detail sheet had a top view but i noticed my holes were slightly off. after fixing the holes in my model page i ran a documents update and went back to my assembly sheet. However now i am missing the top view with the layout and dims of the top flange holes. any tips or tricks to get that view back or add a new one myself?

Hi @rmillsYGF8W ,

There are a couple of ways to achieve this (as far as I know away):

1 - Double click on the green outer detail box & select the view request (from those that are available) that suits what you want to see - note the view you need may not be there depending on your set up

2- Locate the Labels & Dimensions Tab & select 'Create Cut View'. Select the member you want to create the view of

Draw the line on the just outside the plane you want too see (gives you a red directional arrow as below)

Hit 'Enter' & you should have the generated view you want / need

Hope this helps
