Standard Name and Section Name for Insert Label & BOM

Hello,

I am trying customize BOM and Label

In BOM I am using Standard name from Management tools where I have edited it to my ERP name its working fine.

Now while placing label to beam in drawing after selection section name token still it is giving me custom name which is have edited in management tools. please refer below image

If anyone have solution why this is not working and what I have to do to make it work please reply .

As this has to permanent solution which is to be used by all users on Network where I cannot use user defined data or any other dropdown list below it located in Advance properties

Hi,

I would be careful in changing these names within the database, it can cause issues relative to joints or other macros,   Defintally do not change the section name,  the standard name is the display name of the system.

but you can remap a name using the mapping tables in turn to external options and the management tools settings , also the external name tokens in the labelling and bom templates.

Thankyou for quick reply the links you gave are helpful from where I found  I can use 4 different names for default section name given by Advance steel.

so after searching more I found below link where solved my Issue.

1) Drawings can now have short section names
