Stair Stringer Detail View

See attached screenshot. How can I show my stair pans or grating treads on the stringer fabrication detail sheet when they are a field installed part? Several of my fabricators want to see the outline of the pan or grating tread. Thanks in advance!

I would like to see the pans and or grating treads on this sheet but not in the BOM. I cannot figure out how to make it show them.

you could use a mainpart detail style with additional parts. I'm not sure which installation you use and if this is maybe already there. In the international english installation, there's for example the detail style "4.06 Beam (with additional parts).
In this drawing style the model objects selection was set to select additonal parts (pic_1). This could be done with the every other drawing style to.

  • open the drawing style manager and copy (not deep copy) the drawing style which you use
  • rename it to maybe stinger with add_parts
  • change the model objects selection
