Hello Everybody

How can we model such a stair with advance steel? Do anyone have any Idea or recommendation. I think because of that curve part should be a way to model it with spiral stairs.I attached a picture.

Hi,

The Spiral stair macro will expect both the inner and outer stringers to have the same centre. You can't model that stair with any macro.

I would model the bottom tread full width. Pattern it up to make a stair. Use Circular Contour UCS to cut a large circular contour through each end of each step in turn to cut the shape of the stringers. For the stringers make a spline for the path, convert the spline to a polyline with a lowish accuracy (you want only about 30 points along the finished polyline) and then use Beam from Polyline or Twisted Folded Plate to make the stringers from the polyline.

Thanks for your comment , but my main concern was how to use macro otherwise to take the other way for me take longer than doing by Auto cad,

specially the treads are formed steel pan...

I would start with what Aleck said except use the "Folded Beam" function to draw the pans.  This will allow them to be trimmed to the stringer easily.  Drawing a folded beam is very easy as well.

If you would like to see curved stringer stairs, feel free to post it in the idea station.  I, for one, would support that as well.

I am with Alec...there is no way to model with a macro. I suggest to model a conventional stair and after cut with a curved line.

I would model your treads in first, and then use the tread points for the poly line to beam for the stringers.

Hey Bro, I wonder if we can modify Post type from Pipe to Angel Steel on Spiral Staircase ? Without Explode Object I can not change Post type as I want. 

Can you advice me how to resolve this issue ???
