Slope symbol dimensions

I have seen this asked a few times here when searching but never saw an actual answer.

Why does the below image say 1'-0" at 12" instead of 12" at 12" ?

Is there no way to fix this issue?

I can change from feet to inches, but that's not the answer.

Also, is there a way to cut down on the accuracy of the angle and regain some drawing real estate ?

Thank you.

This should be set in the project settings of the prototype, there're the settings for length and angle.

I don't see anywhere to change it from 1'-0" to 12"

No you will find the settings how many numbers after the separator. I'm not 100% sure but this should work for angles and normally by changing this also work for length of the slope symbol

Oh, ok thanks.

The angle precision there is set at 0.0, yet the details show 0.000.

edit: got that one sorted out. Not sure if management tools or dimstyle in prototype worked for me.

Also trying to figure out how to keep it from reading 12" at 1'-0" for a 45 degree slope.

No one says it that way.

A few things from symbols are controlled by dimension styles. Tomorrow I'm back in the office and could test it. You could have a look in the dimension styles and change it there and try if it works.

I think I got that one.  It wasn't working, but then I realized I forgot to copy the new prototype into the correct folder.

Did so, then it worked.  I guess that means it was the dimstyle in the prototype ?
