Show beams below the Grating

Hello!

I have an issue, I need to show a plan view with the grating and the beams at the same time, so I don't know what the presentation mode should be for it to look the way I want it to look.

I used the "3 - Plan View - Line" Drawing Style, I can see the beams like I want, but I cant see the grating, I edited the grating to convert like MP-Grating, and I can see it, but the beams are missing now 😶

What should I do to show both elements in the plan view?

In the Drawing Style Manager look for the drawing style you're using and go into Objects Presentation. Set the Geometric Restriction to ALL for the following: "Mp - Beam", "Mp - Grating", "Grating", and "Beam". Also set the Presentation to your preference for each and make sure the Depth Position is set to Any.

As I just stated in a very recent post, make sure you're using a User process and that your Drawing Process and Drawing Style palettes are set to User (toggle the flag icon at the top).

Hello! @Lewk_PSB Done! Thanks for that, I could see the Beams under the Grating, however when I do this the beams labels are hidden, do you know how to show them again? I have tried moving the order of the Model objects and I can't get them to show.

Im curious as to why your showing the full grating extents and steel in the same plan view.

In my experience typically the steel plan only shows grating hatch in a few places as well as the grating span symbol and handrail outline. Then there is a grating plan that shows cuts, penetrations, etc.

Again this is what I'm use to seeing in the US. I'm sure it's done differently in other places.
