Is there a way to create a BoM within a detail drawing that uses this form of numbering and identification? Our part numbers can be lengthy. Having a shorter identifier to use for leaders and labels would help a great deal when making assemble detail drawings. To be clear, I am referring to the item number in the BoM. Instead of the leaders having the full part number, they have the item number.
Seperate numbering for parts that is unique to each detail drawing. Example Included
