Quick view on Object in the menu bar

Hi ,

Anyone knows how to create a icon in the menu bar in order to have a faster access to use Quick view on Object tool?

You need to use autocad cui interface to added this item to the ribbon.
Type cui at command line and it will open the interface.

You can search for some existing AS commands and look how the radio button is configured.

You should note the command string of the quick view command.

There are several FAQ over how to customise ribbon in autocad, just use those as the basis of the creation, you may have to create a bitmap for button image , as palette uses png files.

Try this link for autocad cui.

Thank you for the quick reply guys!
But what is the macro code for the quick on object.
This command is not in the cui list.

Sorry forgot to insert. If you run the command first the command string will be shown

Does anybody know where these png files are located?

Thanks.

They are inside the DLL FILES, very difficult to get too

Easier to create new image store with the advance steel 2017 data folder and point the cui button image to that location.

Well that's my view.

Did manage once to extract with a software we found that could ready the dll file.

Thanks John - I'll start taking screen snips of the existing buttons and create my own images.

I'm still not quite sure how ribbons and tool pallets are meant to be more efficient than tool bars (have to click twice instead of once for most commands) so I am setting up my own tool bars.
