problem with my prototypes

Hello,

I have a problem with my prototypes.

I have to modify my prototype (flow then assembly) so I start to do a test on the A4 format. However when I do the test it does not make plans in A4, and goes to A3. However without changing the scale it goes to A4 I did not modify the protected area. Just modified: HYPERSTEELPAGEHEADER Any idea of the problem? I think that if I do on A3 my plans will no longer be as before the modification.

When you edit the Prototype, did you define the layout?

Or is it going to A3 and you want it to go to A4?

I started from the A4 model, adding elements in the block. I did not change the layout

So what exactly is going wrong? You're trying to do drawings on A4 and its coming out as A3?

The problem is that with the new prototype, AS no longer makes plans in A4 format, and switches to A3 format.

Hi,

The problem is your title block is too tall. It covers the full height of the drawing sheet. Even though it does not cover the full width or area it confuses AS and it thinks the entire sheet is unusable (covered by title block) so it defaults to the smallest scale in the default location and full clipping.

Try adjusting the border so that it does not overlap the title block (very rough in image below). Within the HYOERSTELPAGEFRAEM block the corner of the rectangle should still be at 0,0. The bloc is placed at a different location in my file. Just to be sure, it is probably best to keep the block name in capitals not lower case as you have it.

However, a large title block on an A4 sheet leaves little usable area. By the time you allow for margins etc it is rare that a detail will fit properly on such a small border so it will still likely default to smallest scale, max clipping and default location.

Also, you should DETACH all reference files from your prototype or you will get annoying reminders about missing references every time the file is opened on a different PC.
