Hello All,
I've been facing an annoying problem in a model I'm currently working on when I try to create sections from a camera detail or a detail using model views or a camera that cut through any of the model geometry. Instead of the cut view being generated as per which ever drawing style I have set, the lines of the cut geometry in the view will randomly either generate correctly, or instead be replaced with red clipping lines which would normally indicated the boundaries of a cut view. I've attached screenshot showing an example of what this looks like.
I've been unable to find a way to remove or change the appearance of these clipping lines in any way. This happens with all geometry in the model. This problem means that almost every view I create that cuts through geometry is unusable, unless I explode the detail, delete the offending clipping lines and manually redraw the incorrect sections. Obviously this is not an ideal solution.
The only thing I can think of that may cause this issue is that the steelwork is not generally aligned to the world coordinate system, instead has a rotation applied to align with existing site coordinates. However, even when creating the cuts aligned perfectly to the plates or beams, I'm still getting the behaviour shown.
Has anyone come across this before or know of a way to fix this?
