Hi guys, i've been having trouble with visual style lately. I use Shaded & 2d wireframe. Shaded's working fine. 2d wireframe is okay when i dont move. But as soon as i rotate in 3D space, everything disappear or a random selection keep showing.
That happen in every drawing i'm opening. Random selection in all of them.
Shaded:
2d wireframe:
2d wireframe when rotating in 3d (random selection keep showing):
every other visual style (keep showing random selction):
I tried: all visible, regen, regenall, select all mark object and unselect, audit, open/close a thousand time.
Thank you for your time.
have a look for the correct drivers:

Hi,
Have you set the correct graphics settings in your Visual Styles? Please see my blog here for more information. This is over 7 years old. Autodesk changed these requirements in AutoCAD 2017.1 but they never changed the default template in some AS builds so the settings are out of date. The changes above will help.
However, 2D Wireframe is by definition one of the worst and slowest display modes you can select. It DOES NOT USE the graphics card on your PC at all. Set the settings as above and use "Wireframe" instead of "2D Wireframe". That does use the graphics card. Modern graphics cards are designed for shading not drawing edges so anything drawing edges will slow you down.
See this blog for a comparison of modes and the gains from making the right settings.
In AS2023 Autodesk included FastShadeMode which massively improves the performance of "Shaded" and "Shased with Edges" visual styles only. These can now rotate the biggest models I have ever had at full speed without any degradation.
It is only on certain occasions you need to see through things to select something. Most of the time seeing through things in wireframe is really hard to interpret or see what you are doing. Shaded modes are easier to follow for the majority of work and actually perform faster.
In order of performance (best first) I would rank the styles like this
