NUMBERING

I want to run all SP on a structure, I get the part such as BP, angles and plate. I want to put a column w/o parts on a drawing showing a hole layout only, no other parts.

On the Home Ribbon (after you've done the numbering) click on the Documents Panel, then Drawing Processes and select Parts Drawings (A1, single, multi, or A3, or whatever is in your palette).

I am doing just that but I get the main part with all the attached parts. I have a column with parts, I am wanting to get a drawing of the MP only.

Share a screenshot? Click on the Parts palette should only generate parts, not assemblies.

Hi,

there are a series of management tools default settings that control the creation of the single part drawing when it is a main part, you may find that this needs to be adjusted, to allow the single part drawing of a main part.

That's it...really big help. The shop guys want just the beam layout.
