I have two similar projects. One is just mirror of the other.
Has anyone done this?
Any tips and tricks for mirroring entire project with drawings and etc?
What is usable after mirror and what is not?
For example cameras seem not to like mirroring. So GA drawings are lost.
Assembly drawings get messed up.

You can mirror the project, but you'll have to do some cleanup afterward.
The best way to mirror the project is to use "Advance Copy". Select all the objects, and then have the "Include additional connections" checkbox ticked. Then go to "Mirror", and choose a 3D mirror. Select the points, and select first the horisontal axis of the mirroring plan, then the vertical one.
You can also use "Delete source objects".
What is will transfer :
- object part marks. Normally the mirrored structure should keep the same identical part detection status of the assembly, and with the method above all parts will preserve the same part mark . You should do a numbering thou to see if any changes appear
- assembly / single part drawings. Those should transfer without any changes. They will appear as "Update required", because the original elements were deleted, but after update you shouldn't see any changes to them.
- Cameras are mirrored as expected, and drawings will remain attached to the model. They will need an update, similar to part drawings
- General Arrangement drawings (created without a camera) will most likely need to be recreated. Isometric views can be used, after update, but elevation/plan views that had a fixed viewport (XY and depth) will become empty after update, as there isn't any structure in the model where they were originally created.
