Level Dimensions on a GA drawing

Level Dimensions on a GA drawing

I am attempting to insert a set of elevations into a drawing. This drawing is intended to be a design drawing, showing as little as possible.

On the attached drawing, the left side is a reference drawing, showing what I want it to look like. The right side shows what AS is spitting out.

Basically, we need to lose the dimensions (highlighted in red) between elevation lines. I can remove the text, but not the dimension line.

Have you any ideas on how to fix this?

If I understand correctly all you want is the level information. To do this delete the dimension and on the "Labels and Dimension" tab under Labels click on the Insert Level symbol button and select entity and the point you want the level at.

To get the correct level, this must be set in the model itself using the Level Symbol button on the Home tab.

This can be tricky to use to get the ground level correct, but set the global level at the base will do the job for you.

HI,

Gary's answer is one option.

An alternative, if you are broadly happy with what you have, is to edit the dimension on the right and set it to "Level Absolute" (you currently have "Level Absolute and Relative") then tick the box "Broken Dimension Line" to remove the dim line leaving the witness lines only.
