Hello all,

I have GA plan view that shows all vertical beams and columns.

According client requirement, we need to place label or dimension that shows X and Y coordinates of those beams / columns.

I read some of simillar topics here in forum, but still cant figure out how to do that. Below is screenshot of what I want.

Any help or advice is highly appreciated!

You could try the ordinate dimensions settings,  this is available under the advance steel dimension properties, you can select the dimension string and change it to show this type of annotation, also control the broken lines and a 0 location, you can swap ends as well.

@bakalov.ivaylo are you talking about total station / survey location coordinates??

Hello all and thanks for replies,

We have model and in the drawings we need to show absolute coordinates of point ( beam in this case ). Manually measuring and write them as note ( label ) or manually written dimension is too much time consuming.

In general, I'm looking for tool/command to pick point from object and to show X or Y absolute coordinates of that point.

Thanks in advancе and have a nice day,
