Help with Creating Large Diameter Pile Profiles

I am trying to create a new database for large-diameter pipe.  Imperial sizes up to 96 inch. Deciphering the columns and the formulas in the MDF has been a challenge. Is there a resource that explains what they are and even better what are the formulas to get the numbers?  I spent over an hour trying to figure out the formula for U(Lateral surface)

to find an area of a section, you can use the autocad commands to create a region and then list the properties of that region.
