Grating/checker plate not visible in assembly details

Why won't my checker plate show up in my details? I'm only getting the main part and none of the other pieces plate. Same goes for expanded metal filler panels.

Regards,

we use a lot of checker plate so we experience same mess too... 25 out of a 100 of any kind of hatch works for us. 80 times out of a 100 we experience total crash when we try to hatch anything. So bad I have a giant note on my screen "SAVE B4 HATCH!!". We have learned if it is important to have hatch, we explode detail, manually draw whatever shape, then hatch works perfect...if not it just way more simple to leave it plain

We hope you get help and some figures it out....Smiley Happy   we wait and watch for answer

I think you need to add "attgrating" to your list of displayed objects on whatever drawing style you're using.  Some the drawing style defaults don't display SP grating parts, for some unknown reason.

As far as hatching is concerned, I try not to bother with it, since it rarely works properly.  If I do hatch, I just use the standard Autocad hatch command instead of the hatch settings within AS.

Actually you just need the Grating attribute in the detail style. If the hatch still does not appear on the output double click on the object and under the "Hatch" tab turn on the hatch colour and choose a hatch pattern, reselect the object and then use the "Update detail" button on the Labels and Dimensions tab.

I have attached a screencast if that helps.

Related to the above topic, I have detailed beams with stiffeners and endplate on each end.  Unfortunately, all plates are not shown on the beam assembly drawings but on the BOM table, it was there. Any help please.

Thanks in advance,
