Generated Drawings Produce Many Extra Dimensions

Hello all,

Hope this finds everyone well.

Over the past while, I have been noticing that whenever I create new drawings, there are many extra dimensions being generated.

For example, after running the Drawing Process for a beam, seeing the beam drawing in the Document Manager, the Elevation dimension generates many extra points and causes the drawing to be out of the page. This happens with all newly generated Assembly drawings and is especially harsh on column drawings.

For extra notes, this is directly after I generate a drawing. I haven't even gone into the drawing file yet, I just see it in the Document Manager and notice the issue.

If there is any resolution to this, that would be greatly appreciated.

It would definitely save the time on the "clean-up" portion of newly generated drawings.

As examples, I have attached one example of a beam and a column drawing.

Thank you for the help!

Cheers.

We need to know which drawing style has been used to see the dimension requests for the objects.

Can you attach the dwg?

If this information solves your problem please accept as a solution.

Hi Mick,

Thanks for the reply.

I am not sure if you needed the individual shop drawing DWG files but I have attached those regardless.

If you need anything further, please let me know!

Thank you so much.
