Hi all, I have been having an issue using the F8 key (Ortho) during a move or active command which I do all the time. The display freezes and requires a long wait or you can hit the ALT key to reset it and then it will work.
This is an issue that has been ongoing since Windows 10 released their Anniversary edition and is recognised as a problem and was "fixed" in the 17.1 patch. I am having this issue in AS 18 now. Windows merrily updates itself and it looks like this problem has resurfaced again.
Here is a link to the Autodesk comment and suggested fixes (they don't mention using the ALT key though)
Please be aware for users that upgrade their Windows 10 product that this may be a problem. Turning the TEMPOVERRIDES to 0 makes it work without freezing.

Thank you for your feedback @Anonymous
Have you tried to install the latest Windows updates? Does this make any difference?
How about in AS2017? Do you also see the issue in 2017 version? Or only in 2018?
Cheers,
Yes, this is on the latest updates to Windows 10 and it does this in 2017 and 2018. The F8 works fine if preselected, it is only during a move or copy or anytime a command is active.
I am not having any issues now TEMPOVERRIDES is set to 0. Thanks for your response.
