Exporting advanced steel file into .iges .igs format

Hello, 

I am trying to exporting my steel connection into .iges and .igs formats. But it is taking too much of time in terms of hours, still no response. Kindly let me know the solution for this. 

Kindly find the attachment that is showing.

To do this you need a 3rd party tools to create the separate model in that format.

@johnjmbennett we are having export option .iges and .igs formats by default in export of other format option. So why cant we use that ? I am using that only. But since from morning till evening it is not responding at all. So what is your opinion about this ?

hI @Anonymous 

So if you are using the export from the menu you first need to make a copy of your model and explode all the advance steel intilligence from copy so everything is just 3D solids then use the export to IGES once you have removed all the instiigence
