Edit Labels in Assembly Drawing

Hello,

I have the following issue - I use default Drawing process templates to run my assembly drawings. As result I get my assembly with default label and some dimensions. I want to change the style of all labels in the Assembly drawing - for example, instead of receiving only part number, I want to change label strategy to <part number>+<name ( specification of element)>. Is that possible? If not how can I change default label strategies for Drawing process templates(I want to generate all assemblies in separate sheets).

Other issue that I have is that I have to generate 3D views for every assembly(in separate drawings). I know how to add the 3D view in the drawing after the generation(but this is one by one). My question is can this be done automaticlaly by Drawing process templates - "All assemblies - one per sheet"?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Regards,

Ivaylo

You can change the content of the label strategy that your drawing style uses. Then reapply that drawing style to your detail. It should update all your labels.  It may delete any dimensions that you have added.

To find the label, find your drawing style in the Drawing Style Manager and navigate to "Objects Presentation".  Then you'll see labels on the right side. Find those in the "Label Strategies", also in the Drawing Style Manager.

As for the second question, as far as I know, that can not be done automatically. You have to define a view and UCS for each 3D view.   I wish this were possible, I attempted to do this a while ago.
