Drawing Style Override

We just started using AS 2025 and I've run into an issue that I cannot figure out.

If I have a camera view that I've already sent to a detail. If I need to change the camera detail style in the model, updating the view on the drawing will not change in the detail view style. I have to delete the view and resend it to the detail for it to change the detail style.

This was not an issue in previous versions. If I changed the camera view style, it would change upon updating.

I've combed through the MT defaults. Am I missing something?

Hi,

I don't want to be rude but I think you are remembering slightly wrong. Changing the selected drawing style inside a camera has never hanged the style of any existing views generated from that camera. You have to delete and regenerate the view.

If you want to change the style of the view after creation try opening the drawing, go to Drawing Style Manager and select he style you want to change to, click USE then select the view. That should change the style for a camera view. You might still get better results deleting and regenerating the view as that will check the scale and label positions etc from scratch.
