Hi All,
Has anyone figured out how to display weld symbols on drawings that follow a known standard, like the American Welding Society (AWS) or ISO?
I'm currently stumped on how the geometric restrictions could be used to filter the weld symbols. I'd like to display welds that would have their line perpendicular to the view; only shown in the section view. However, with the geometric restrictions the way they are, I would expect to get welds in both the front and section views. (I could simply omit welds in the front and top views).
In the model they show as a point, however, the point used by most of the macros is not at the edge of the plate. The point is typically in the center of the plate. This is a minor gripe, as I believe ISO does not indicate arrow side? (I think there's a dotted line for that)
I've managed to get the symbol to show in each of the views using the below geometric restrictions.
