This is to do with the tolerance settings in the advance steel model, under project setting you will see units for the model length, you may need to adjust.

Similar there are units in the prototype files also, there are dimensional tolerances.

Can' t recall all the settings, but you should be able to adjust to correct.

I try to make the model units for length under AS same as autocad units, so match the fractional value required.

You need to share the model and the drawing to check the unit settings.

The exact value from 3d model is 1 7/32".

You can notice this by changing precision of length on 3d model.
(for Advance Steel Home - Settings - Project settings or for Autocad dimensions).
The Advance Steel connections dialogs from 3d model will round up the value to the current precision (1/16"), that's way is shown as 1 1/4".

However, the value of 1 7/32 is just at cross border between 1 3/16 and 1 11/4.

1 3/16 + 1/32 = 1 7/32

1 1/4 - 1/32 =  1 7/32
Due do this exact match between the two values, i would say that there are 50-50 chances for dimensions to go one way or another.
You can:
- either chance the value on 3d model to exact 1 1/4 by typing once again the value 1/4 (recommended) or
- change dimensions precision on detail to 1/4 from Labels&Dimensions - Dimensions - Dimension style
