dialog box with no information, unable to make new connections railing stairs or ladders

I recently had advanced steel reloaded to my machine. I'm working in advanced steel 2022. I have an existing model that has handrails, beams, end plates, ladders bolts, and plates in it. I have used this model on several projects updating each per client request. I was going to update some handrail, clicked the dialog box and got:

The same thing happened when I wanted to add an end plate. I thought that maybe I could just recreate the handrail but I don't get any response from the handrail button.

Hi,

Try placing a joint (anything from Connection Vault) in a new model. If that does the same then your installation is broken. You will need to reinstall.

It wouldn't let me do anything with it. I had to basically leave that machine and start using a different one. It's still acting odd. I can only have a view cube if I'm in wireframe. Elbows don't like to show up in drawings when they are picked to be in the camera view.
