We have created a custom cladding profile, where do we save it so we can use when we create cladding?

Hi,

This is a fairly old thread, but a new problem for me.

I'm able to create a new user profile, and detail this as a single beam item. But where do I save it so the AstorRules can find the file?

I understood the naming conventions in Profile Classes and Profile Info where the same as the user section Hyoe_TypeName and Hype_Section Name. But when I create a cladding, the user profile is not in the cladding options.

I assume its something easy I missed somewhere.

Hi,

have you tried to follow this FAQ over adding sections to the cladding macros:

You have to add the section type to the ProfileMasterList in your database. I had issues with spaces in my name and removed them to use dashes instead, which seemed to do the trick.

If it isn't already posted there are some VERY excellent how to's by Doug Morton at Graitech:
