Hi,

In Advanced Steel you can use The Joint 'Two end Plates, Reference beam' I am not familiar with Revit but id Advance steel Joints are there then this should work.

Here's how it looks in Advanced Steel.

Hi Chris

Well that is the reason to buy advanced steel, Revit 2018 has not got this connection type lol, Thanks for replying, is there any other way of doing it in advanced steel

Well that must be annoying. Especially after all the fuss about AS joints are now available in Revit.

I don't think there are any other joint macros that will do this. Can you do manual joints in Revit? Does it have to be this type of connection?

Kind Regards

Chris

I agree, I am new to Revit over 20 years autocad I use about 90% still using lisp routines I made 18years ago & myself and a fried are in the process of making a 2D steel fabrication bit of software should be finished in another couple of months... a lot easier to use   & really how many companies are using BIM...
