The clipping in the model views is off every time i close and open a file.

i made the modelview at the grid line and i put the camera on.

its no fun to have every model view open to change the clipping again.

a new patch error?

The problem occurs on AS 2018 version with or without any hotfix installed.

In order to overcome this inconvenient, please use the model views by checking all sides to be included as limits (top, right, bottom left).

i can't select like you do.

the 4 marks (front, back, left right) are grayed out.

if i mark the first 3 there is nothing more to see of my drawing.

The 4 marks are greyed out due to the activation of "camera properties --> Create automatic drawing" option. So the issue related with Front checkbox should not occur.

Regarding missing of elements visibility on the model, I can only assume that the model view is not a box (there is a zero value for a side).

Please check that all three sizes of the model view box have values different than zero. You should have something like this:

so don't use model view by a grid line.

you can use is but you have to adjust it so there is a box. (fill in a height)

need a bug fix here 🙂

This is only a work around. Autodesk needs to do a Bug Fix here.
