Hi

As some may already know I have a new PC I am running or trying to run Advance Steel on.

It would now seem that my circles and curves have lost there beauty, hoping its just a setting somewhere, seems to work itself out when plotted to pdf, for now anyway, any advice appreciated.

Images attached.

Hardware acceleration. Under Graphics performance in the 2D display settings, click on Details and make sure Smooth Line Display is selected as well as High Quality Geometry.hardware.jpg

Definatley something strange with my P4000 card drivers I think, my accelerator only giving me the option for Classic mode.

Take a screenshot of your tuner log if you can.

Looks OK. Have you tried restoring defaults and then retuning? Are you running at the max resolution of your monitor because it appears to be set to 1920 wide. I'm clutching at straws now.

Have you seen this:

Hi

We'll this link is very useful thank you, strongly I don't have the Advance setting in the graphics performance setting but I was able to set the other settings as you have it and my curves are all great again, I must look into my screen settings, need to learn all these things. Thanks so much for your help and this link will be very useful

Would that be because I have 2 monitors maybe, Gary do you have much experience with larger models in Advance Steel, I'm having some difficulties working on a 5 story building. See to be kinda of workable in wireframe as opposed to 2d wireframe (as recommended by Alec Giles). Still a bit disappointed as its not much better than my old PC performance wish
