Change the norm for the selected screws

Hello community,

I have different screw connections (direct bolt, rectangular bolt pattern, bolt on beam) between angles / angles and sheets / angles of different sizes, which does not allow me to directly edit screw properties for all selected screws at once - eg change the norm from DIN 7990 to DIN 7989 - in the best case, all parameters are grayed out only. Is there any possibility (command macro, script, LISP, ...) to easily change some common screw parameter of all selected screws at once?

If it's the case where there are a lot of connections which are not in group I personally would export list to excel and edit it there. That will save you a lot of headache 😄

Fast changes without deleting the joint boxes? 
Not possible with AS Standard.
From my knowledge (but I'm not sure 100%) or AS Booster from Man and Machine is the only tool which could do it.
The problem is: if you change it, and then change the joint properties, the bolts are maybe changed back.

thank you very much. I  will continue to research and think, it's possible with LISP too (maybe not with big limitations).

Hi,

It sounds like the bolts are placed using joints rather than placed as bolt groups on their own. Therefore, the bolt type or norm property is in the joint and disabled in the bolt properties. You will need to go into the Joint Properties to edit the norm.

After editing the first joint you can make lots of other joints of ht sesame type match even if they are not part of a group. Use the Extended Modelling > Joint Utilities >Transfer command. See my blog here for more info. So you might only have to edit one of each joint type and then use transfer once for each type.
