Cannot get color printing in advance steel
Drawings are printed in Black and White because by default they come with a specific .ctb file called "Advance Steel.ctb", that assigns each color to a black line, resulting a black and white print. This can be modified as follows:
- open the drawing you want to print
- enter "Page Setup Manager" _pagesetup
- click Modify
- on the top-right side there is an option called "Plot style table". You can either modify the Advance Steel one or switch to "acad.ctb".
- close the dialog, save the detail. Now it will print with colors.
The assignment of .ctb files is done per drawing, so if you have the details already generated, you would need to make this change for all of them. To get the detail drawings with this setting, you would need to do this change to the prototype files used by Advance Steel when creating drawings.
