Bad detail of Special part on drawings

Hi All

Please see below.

Is there a way to overcome the bad quality of a special part in a drawing view.

The steelwork is done in AS and the pump is a special part.

Sorry for being so directly, but does anybody use the forum search or just google?

No the presentation could not be changed, because the specialpart are triangulated and the solids could not be displayed better. 

If you really need this often: recreate the solid by using plates, beams and so (Advance Steel elements). Save this file and reinsert this as specialpart...you will see a significant difference between these specialparts.

This problem is known since many years and could read here in many threads and ideas in the forum

I can assure you assure you I do allot of searching before I post on the forum. Just keep in mind people like us who are new to the software is not familiar with the correct terminology of the problem on hand, and obviously this has a huge impact on our search outcome.
