I am currently working on 8 stair towers that require embed plates with studs for the channels to bear on in cmu block walls. For the life of me, I cannot get this macro to stay consistent and work correctly. I need a 1/2" x 6" x 8" plate with 2 1/2" x 4 1/8" Headed Nelson studs on them for the channels to sit on. If the plate layout is set to total, the studs come in upside down no matter what I do and I can get the correct size plate. If I change it to projection, the studs orientate correctly, but I cannot get the 6" width without the plate hanging off the back of the channel by 3" which puts it 3" outside of the wall on my embed plan. What is causing this to behave this way? Why is there not an option to offset it back to where it needs to be? Moving the UCS does not change anything. I have no idea whats wrong, but we feel your pain. Sometimes we have restarted AS two or three times in a row to get wierd things from occuring. Today for example, I had to restart twice to be able to right click on UCS to rename it...

It does stuff like that all the time in our experience. I wish we could preform our services at less than acceptable and still demand, command and collect a premium price for a promise of future improvment.... so far its not happening

I have restarted it also. In fact, I have probably done that 20 times since I posted this and it still doesn't work.
