Try the Tube end to end and see how that works out for you.

Thank you, it works ! But I have another problem now... As you can see I managed to fix the two sections on the top, question 2.PNGbut for the blue one I've got this result:question 2b.PNG

The beam has lengthened and my plate isn't at the good location, why I've got this ?

Try changing this setting to 40 and re-create that inner tube and see what happens. I have found unexplained phenomena happening with curved members on occasion.

I changed this parameter and I've always got this problem for only 2 connections, all the others are good.

For the first one, it's the same issue than previously and for the second one I've got this:

The plate is shifted to the left.

When you told me to fix the kiss export issues, you mean this parameter ? KISS exports.PNG

😛Fix the KISS export issues is my smart ass comment in my sig because the KISS export from AS is lacking. It's attached to all my posts. LOL I'll change it whenever ADSK gets around to polishing up the KISS function.

🤣

Is there a system line here where circled?

@eric.schnitzler4  I think I got this figured out.

It appears to work without moving them around. I tried every way I could think of using the tube end to end but the results were very very messed up. Custom connection worked no matter what I tried to mess it up. BTW, I couldn't think of why (unless the engineer decided) the splice had to be at a panel point. It might be less work for all involved if the splice could be between panel points. The red parts could then be field welded easier than having the splice right at the intersection, ?.

See screencast.

There's always a workaround 😅 The file is in Imperial because my 8" pipe looked like drinking straw in your metric file lol. I'll attach screencast when it's done.

I hope this helps.

Just a last question, how did you cut the lines at a panel point ?
