Hi,
we have problems with the DSTV NC files of AS, they are not working for our profiles and plates. We use a lot of window or framework profiles which are not normed and we need the information from drillings, tappings, rectangle or slotholes etc.
We create most models based on rules and configurations the user put into an UI, then they add some features they need and sent the BOM into our ERP System with the DSTV/NC1 files. We want to change that a bit and analyze the models for it´s features and write our own CNC files, specialized for our CAM system. DSTV/NC1 is just 2D so we lack the Z axis.
So, did anybody do that already or is there an acceptable documentation or is there none and people have to work on a try-and-error base?
