Any ideas what might be wrong? I have Advance steel 2018 on my workstation and everything looks fine when I launch vanilla AutoCAD.
All our non-Advance Steel workstations are identical (AutoCAD 2018 Version 22.0.106.0 & Advance Steel Object Enabler 2018 Version 4.0.0.0)
We have two different workstations so far that I know of, xref'd models containing Advance Steel objects open up with the AS objects out in right field and not to scale. The generic AutoCAD objects in these same xref'd models show up correctly. Also, sometimes these xref'd models will not open up at all. AutoCAD just spins its wheels and locks up.
I did the following to trouble shoot:
- Uninstalled Advance Steel Object Enabler
- Rebooted
- Installed as admin fresh download of Advance Steel Object Enabler
- Rebooted
- Launched AutoCAD and opened problem model. Advance Steel objects "broke".
- Launched Navisworks Manage, appended model. All models and objects showed up correctly.
- Launched AutoCAD and opened problem model. All models and objects then showed up correctly.
- Rebooted
- Launched AutoCAD and opened problem model. Advance Steel objects messed up again.
It seems like Navisworks activates the OE's.....
Please Help.
