Advance steel installation problem

Hello

After installing Advance steel, when I try to open the software, the interface of the software is that of Autocad civil 3d, and when I create elements the software crashes.

What version of Advance Steel are you running?

Try running standard AutoCAD first then close, then run Advance Steel.

First of all check if all your version are updated to the last version, also autocad 2018. 

Even you don´t have the License try to install first autocad, then Advance Steel. 

If the problem persist , delete all the files and reinstall the software. 

Can you give us a screenshot of the Error message ?

I have Advance steel 2016, Autocad has been installed first, please see the picture

In Advance Steel 2016 the product will launch with the last run AutoCAD product. To ensure that Advance Steel will start with AutoCAD, please ensure that AutoCAD is opened first then closed.

thats Civil 3D not autocad

Advance Steel is looking for an Autocad installation not an Autocad based product installation

I do it, but the problem is the same, for clarification : in my computer i have autocad civil 3d 2016 and autocad 2013.

I don't know if i need the same version of autocad (2013 to 2016)?

yes you need to have Autocad 2016 not 2013

You have to update all versions to the last one 2018 , if you have license is totally free.  That picture is Civil 3D , not Advance Steel. Try to update to the last versions all this softwares ( Advance Steel, Autocad, Civil )  and then check the error.

I installed autocad 2016, and advance steel 2016, the problem is not completely solved,

first : advance steel Does not crash.

second : the working window is still for autocad and (not for civil 3D & advance steel)
