Advance Steel 2018 - deleting of compound beam saved profiles

Hello everybody,

i have created in AS 2018 a few compoound profiles whose profile options you can save. Somehow the stored profiles have "multiplied" at once (see Picture - is in a german language) and do not even delete them. Is there any other way to remove the combi profiles saved by me from the selection?

all these save entries could be found in the AstorRules.
Open the Management Tools --> Table editor --> upper left "Open Databases"--in the filter field type "Compound"

You will find a few table for this, I think you use the COMPOUND_4W_TOE_Table.

there is only one entry, no false entries from my picture. I have not found any other multiple data.

are you sure, you have look in the right database?
This is definitely the correct database for this settings. In your windows, I see the german headline, but the naming of the "Profilreihe" is english, what databases you are working with? 
Where are your databases located (server or client)?

it´s a client database, but after the Hofix 2 Update are some german naming in english  ... no idea why.

It is interesting - there are no real settings behind the saved compund beams data - they are only multiple empty records that can not be used.

just a try:

• close AS
• delete the AstorRules_log.ldf ("C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Advance Steel 2018\DEU\Steel\Data\AstorRules_log.ldf")
• restart AS (maybe there's a database problem

erasing of LDF data brought no changes

so i think, i have "found it", in a new drawing it´s correctly now (but if i copy a part from the old dwg, the same problem is back - no idea why)

only the mixture german / english is still here - all records in the table editor e.g. -> AstorProfiles ->Compound_4w_toe_table_(language) -> FullSectionName are in all languages in english - that is no normal

Sounds not normal, the entries in the table are a combination from the TypeNameText from the ProfileMasterTable and SectionName of the profil, so they should be english, that's right.
But after copy a part from one to another dwg, nothing should be copied than the object.
Do you have more than one license? is this behavior on all seats?

i have only one license, this problem is present only in this drawing (see attachement) ... no idea why

Ok I think I know what you did 😃
You want to send you model to another user and use the command "Save Data" or for us as german users "Verwendete Daten speichern". 
By using the Command "delete data" (Verwendete Daten löschen) the problem is solved.
