Adding Beveled Washers for A325 5/8" Bolts on Stringers

Hello,

So I have a quick question regarding beveled washers on diagonal stringers for our handrails. If you look at the image below, we want to add beveled washers as a standard when we draw up our handrails. Currently it shows normal washers but this is incorrect. Has anyone went through the process of adding this into the system? I would greatly appreciate any help on this one. We currently use A325 - Grade ASTM A325 with NAW Bolt assembly, Diameter is 5/8".

Thanks for your time with this matter

Stephen L

Hi Stephen,

Attached please find my A325, it has set NaW Tapered

The washer will show as plate washer-no bevel, it is not possible to make it bevel in the model.

Please verify the length of the first 5/8"dia bolt you are using, just in case, it should be o.k.

L 5/8" bolt with beveled washer = Grip+5/16+7/8

Have a great day.

If it is made of steel, I can model it and detail it.

Thank you Ilko, I really appreciate this, I can't seem to find the attached file though. Is it possible to attach again?

Again thanks! Much appreciated.
