Currentl,y you auto populate the spec section in the specification module. The specification module does not sync with the submittal. I would have to enter the one-by-one spec section in the submittal. Submittals and spec sections should sync with each other.
PLEASE make this functionality. It is extremely cumbersome to individually create every spec section on every project that requires a submittal. As mentioned above the abilty to select from a list of spec sections for only the ones that require submittals would be even better. If you could add the ability to select the appropriate template,workflow for each one at the same time that would be great.
I completely agree with the need to sync specification sections between the Specification Module, AutoSpecs, and the Submittal Module. If spec sections (Title & Number) are already uploaded, they should auto-populate as selectable entries when creating submittals. This would eliminate the need to manually re-enter each section and streamline workflows.
For example, when building a submittal schedule, having a pre-populated spec list would save hours of setup time and reduce errors. It would also allow teams to quickly assign workflows and templates to only the relevant sections, improving coordination between GCs, reviewers, and submittal managers. AutoSpecs is helpful, but it doesn’t support manual workflows or populate the spec list in the Submittal Module. Connecting these modules would make the entire process more efficient and consistent across projects.
In Procore its syncing and work together , when there is new publish to specification module its automate sync to submittal module and you can choose it when you create new submittal..
i should not have to upload specs in AutoSpecs, Specifications in Build, and Submittals in Build. I should enter into Specifications on Build only and they should transfer or populate over into Submittals automatically.
