Would love to see submittals to have the capability to be sent to the architect as package (covering multiple submittals for a specification). For example per my sectional door specifications, I have a submittal 08 36 13-1 for product data & 08 36 13-2 for shop drawings. My sub sends both of these as one document. Without separating the file, I would like to send one document to the architect for review that covers both of the required submittals listed above. Some how these two sections are linked together. When the architect reviews the document under 08 36 13-1 and approves/rejects, it automatically updates both 08 36 13 - 1&2. This may go true for a door frame and hardware submittal. It would include a couple different spec sections. Would be great if the cover sheet would identify that this submittal covers a selected group of required submittals. Architect review one document at one place and the approval is automatically distributed among all selected required submittals.
