My team and I would like the ability to both send a contract for signature and request supplier input within the same step to streamline the contract process. We begin by compiling the 6 documents that make up our contract using the document package.
After it is created, we would like to send our contract for signature. At the same time that the subcontractor is signing and returning the subcontract, we would also like them to be notified of the compliance requirements that we are requesting prior to my company then executing the contract, which includes the subcontractors Schedule of Values, W9, and Certificates of Insurance. We do not want to execute a contract until we have all of those compliance requirements.
The reason for this is because we do not want to "Request Supplier Input", meaning we have to wait around for the subcontractor to send in the compliance requirements (Schedule of Values, W9, and Certificates of Insurance) prior to then sending the contract for signature because this could then make it a lengthy process in terms of time.
The ability for a one step process to both request the specific compliance requirements from a subcontractor and putting the contract in front of them for signature would be the ideal way to streamline this process.
