Select Model Object to Open Assets Detail Panel

Select Model Object to Open Assets Detail Panel

Feature request to click on an object in the model viewer and have it open the associated asset's detail panel.  Currently, you can only select the asset name from the list of assets and have it select the model object, but asset names are not always perfectly identifiable and it can be confusing to know which object you're actually selecting.  It would be more useful to people viewing the model (especially non-BIM people) to be able to click on an object in the viewer and have it tell you about the asset.

Hi @Tim-Peruchini ,

Selecting a model object to open the asset properties is supported today. You may have to check your Selection Mode (available in the settings icon within the viewer). Can you try a different selection mode and see if it resolves the issue?

@robert_smith Oh goodness, yep that did it.  I had the one Selection Mode active that doesn't bring up the assets panel *facepalm*.  Thank you!!!
