We use BIM models a lot in our meetings and on site. Usually the BIM models are aggregated on the spot depending on the needs. During the meeting or as a preparation for the execution on site, we create views within the model context using:
- coloring of objects in the BIM models,
- hiding of objects in the BIM models,
- annotations and markups (like 3D text),
- and measurements.
This information is very valuable and should be storable. With the current features available on ACC (also within Model Coordination), we are not able to use ACC for this and have to rely on other providers. Improving this is crucial for us, since we see our markets (Europe) evolve to BIM-based execution (see related idea for general on site usability: https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/acc-ideas/model-viewer-improvements-for-on-site-usage/idi-p/13688960)
