When uploading files in Docs into folders with enforced Naming Standard "Description" attribute does not come up which means we need to add Description to all uploaded files manually after the upload of files. This would be very time consuming and not practical.
As we were unable to add Description to naming standard because its built-in ACC attribute, we created new attribute "TITLE" and added it to our Naming Standard(s) as related attribute. This mean that it comes up when uploading files into docs and we can add titles when uploading files.
Even though this saved us time we would waste if we had to add all descriptions after the upload of files it also causing us issues now.
We realised we do need Description attribute on our projects ( we have hundreds of them ) as when using Transmittals description attribute comes up right next to file name and the same in reviews. Because we do not use Description attributes this is BLANK.
It's necessary that "Description" attribute can be used as part of Naming Standard or if we create customised attribute called TITLE this can be added to TRANSMITTAL and REVIEW page.
