Possibility to enter a project different number
We often have project modifications to make after submitting a proposal to the client.
For example: we submitted a proposal, but the client comes back and asks us to extend the building by 2 feet.
I would like to keep my original submission and build from that. I know very well how to do this currently.
However, I then have to create a new project with a new code number. It would be okay if the code number followed the sequence (e.g., 25012 and 25013).
But it often happens that the client comes back after some time. We then end up with a code number that does not follow (e.g., 25012 and 25042).
We would like to keep the original project code number created.
I tried using 25012-01 or 25012.01 as we currently do with our other software, but ProEst does not accept these characters.
Ideally, we would use the same code number 25012 but with a different description. However, ProEst does not accept this either.
Could ProEst add this functionality quickly?
