In Autodesk Build's Forms module, we created a Smart PDF form with several fields marked as required/mandatory. After uploading it as a form template and using it within a project, we noticed that users can still submit the form without filling in the required fields.
This defeats the purpose of having mandatory fields and poses serious risks in workflows like safety inspections, quality control, or compliance checklists, where complete information is critical.
Smart PDF forms with required fields should enforce field validation before submission, just like native ACC forms do. Users should not be able to submit unless all mandatory fields are completed.
