I would like to suggest an improvement regarding the handling of approved files in submittals. Currently, once a document is approved and the Close and Distribute option is selected, the system allows placing an overview report in a folder, but not the original approved file(s).
It would be very helpful if this process could be automated - either enabling the distribution of the approved documents directly (similar to the functionality available in Docs review), or by allowing the original files ti be distributed alongside the report once the submittal is closed.
At present, when generating an overview report, the submitted file is attached only if it is in PDF format. For other file types, such as DWG, IFC, NWD, or similar, this functionality is not available.
